Huisartsen Waterlandplein is a modern GP practice where the patient comes first.

At our practice, we do things a little differently from what you might be used to. For example, you have direct contact with your doctor, without an assistant acting as an intermediary. You’ll also never be put on hold, as we operate on an appointment-only basis. You can arrange the time at which the GP will contact you. Or you can ask us a question online. We do not have a reception desk.

We are available from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00.

As GPs, we strive to green and sustainable to work. What does this mean?

• We use as little paper as possible
• We prefer to make home visits by bike
• When we prescribe medicines, we opt for the most sustainable option
• We prescribe medicines sparingly and ask you to return any unused medicines to the chemist’s
• We try to generate as little (medical) waste as possible
• The entrance and the street outside our health centre are smoke-free
• We promote a healthy lifestyle and take part in the community vegetable garden.
• We recommend exercise, green spaces and nature for your health (nature on prescription)
